Wine in Remembrance is a unique Israeli initiative that honors the memory of soldiers and civilians who fell in the defense of Israel. Each bottle carries the story, face, and spirit of a fallen hero — turning wine into a vessel of memory.
In collaboration with leading Israeli wineries, bereaved families, and communities, we produce limited-edition wines bearing the name, story, and legacy of each hero.
A legacy of light, loyalty, and love for others
Roey Weiser’s story reflects the deep emotional resonance that Wine in Remembrance brings to families. Known for his radiant positivity and unwavering devotion to his soldiers and community, Roey lived by a simple yet powerful belief: that there is good in everyone.
“Roey was a beacon of light,” his family recalls. “He saw people — really saw them — and always chose to believe in their goodness.”
His commitment to those around him, especially his fellow soldiers, was extraordinary. He went above and beyond to ensure their well-being, always putting others before himself.
Roey fell in combat, giving his life for the values he cherished. Though his voice was silenced, his spirit continues to shine through the wine that bears his name.
“When we first saw Roey’s face on a wine bottle,” his parents shared, “we felt pride, and pain. But also comfort — comfort in knowing his story would continue to be told.”
For the Weiser family, Roey’s wine has become a living part of their traditions.
“During Passover, as we drink the four cups, Roey is with us. His wine brings him back to our table. We hope others feel that same warmth — and remember the values he lived by
A life of laughter, justice, and fearless love for others
Raz Mizrahi was a young officer in the Israeli Border Police — a bright spirit whose infectious laughter, inner strength, and deep sense of justice touched everyone who knew her.
“She had a laugh that lit up every room,” her family recalls. “Raz truly loved life, and more than anything, she believed in fairness and in standing up for those who couldn’t stand for themselves.”
On October 7, 2023, while celebrating at the Nova music festival, Raz’s life was tragically taken in a brutal terrorist attack. She was simply enjoying life — something she embraced fully — when she became a victim of senseless violence.
For her family, joining the Wine in Remembrance project felt immediate and natural.
“As soon as we heard about the project,” they shared, “we knew this was exactly how we wanted to honor her.”
The wine dedicated to Raz is more than a bottle — it’s a celebration of her essence. With every pour, her memory comes to life.
“Raz used to shout before every sip, ‘Drink wine, and let the secrets flow!’ Her name means ‘secret’ in Hebrew — and now, those words carry even deeper meaning.”
Through this wine, her family hopes that others will smile, laugh, and carry forward her spirit — one glass at a time.
